On Republic Day, farmers across the country reminded the six promises made by the central government to the farmers with a tractor parade. In Aligarh, on the call of United Kisan Morcha, leaders and representatives of constituent organizations Bhakiyu, Revolutionary Farmers Union conducted a tractor parade.

Flags of farmer unions were hoisted along with the national flag on the tractor in the parade. The farmers raised slogans. Long live farmer-labour solidarity, will continue to take the right to MSP, waive off the entire loan, slogans were echoing.

On reaching the Commissionerate, State media in-charge of United Kisan Morcha Shashikant, Western UP in-charge of Revolutionary Farmers Union Gajendra Chaudhary, District in-charge Nagendra Chaudhary, State Committee member of Kisan Sabha Idris Mohammad handed over the memorandum addressed to the President through Divisional Commissioner to ACM II Vijender Singh. In the memorandum, the United Kisan Morcha, in a letter written to the Central Government on 21 November 2021, drew the attention of the government towards its six pending issues.

On the basis of the recommendation of the Swaminathan Commission, a law should be made to guarantee MSP for all crops. Farmers raised the issue of more than 80 per cent farmers getting trapped in huge debt due to rising input costs in agriculture and not getting remunerative prices for their crops. All types of loans of all farmers should be waived off. Apart from this, the withdrawal of the Electricity Amendment Bill 2022, the dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, the main conspirator of the murder of four farmers and a journalist in Tikonia of Lakhimpur Kheri district, the immediate release of four innocent farmers imprisoned in the case and their Major demands included immediate withdrawal of registered fake cases, compensation to martyred farmer families and injured farmers, comprehensive and effective crop insurance for all crops, five thousand per month farmer pension etc.

Circle in-charge of Revolutionary Farmers Union Suresh Chandra Gandhi, District in-charge Nagendra Chaudhary, District women in-charge Kamlesh Yadav, District President Surajpal Upadhyay, Rajababu Borna, Vinod Yadav, Satendra Pal Singh, Ramveer Singh, Subhash Jadaun, Prahlad Singh, Sudhir Kumar, Bhuvnesh Gandhi, Vinod Kumar, Abhishek, Jaipal Singh etc were present.
