The proposed all-India strike of the agitating bank employees on January 30 and 31 over various pending demands has been postponed after a conciliation meeting held in Mumbai.
Convenor VK Sharma told that a reconciliation meeting was called regarding the strike. In which the IBA while discussing the problems and issues of the bank employees agreed that such meetings would be held from time to time to avoid undue delay. Five day working week, pension and transition from NPS to old pension scheme, general meeting will be held with employees unions and officers associations.
