Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP is scared of the Samajwadi Party’s landslide victory in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha bypoll. That’s why the BJP is deliberately postponing the civic body elections. That is why the BJP government first made reservation for civic body elections contrary to the decision of the Supreme Court. Taking a jibe at the BJP, he said that wherever there was BJP’s chairman and mayor in the municipal bodies in the state, dengue spread more. Because the problem of water logging could not be solved there. He thanked the people of Mainpuri for the bumper victory in the Lok Sabha by-election. Along with this, promised to give without any discrimination. He said that the BJP government wants to take away the reservation. But the Samajwadi Party will fight for it.
BJP surrounded on the issues of farmers
Akhilesh hit back at the talk of doubling the income of farmers by the BJP government. He said that the farmer is worried about urea and DAP. If he sows, the cattle eat the crop. Even if somehow the crop gets ready, then its price is not available. The farmer is troubled by this. Prior to this program, Akhilesh Yadav reached Sakar Vishwa Hari Bhole Baba’s Satsang program organized in Naurangabad and also at the residence of Varun Gihar located in Gihar Colony of Bhogaon. ‘Drains falling in rivers, how will Ganga be cleaned’
The SP chief also raised questions on the campaign being run by the BJP government to clean the river Ganga. He said that drains are falling into the rivers in the entire state. He also talked about the drain falling directly into the Kali river, a tributary of the Ganga, passing through the district’s border. He said that the government is spending thousands of crores in the name of cleaning the Ganga, but the drains falling on the tributaries could not be stopped.
