Agra’s Sikandra police station has filed a charge sheet in the court against Tinku Bhargava, former president of BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha and his partner Anil, accused in the case of beheading of Payal trader Naveen Verma. 40 witnesses have been made in this.

Inspector-in-charge of Sikandra police station Anand Kumar Shahi told that businessman Naveen Verma was murdered by his friend Tinku along with his partner Anil. Both the accused were caught on the spot. It was revealed in the investigation of the police that the accused Tinku had lured Naveen with a job. Was extorting money from him for this. Started coming to his house too. It was also said that he would get him a good position in the party. For this reason Naveen started living with her. Used to go with him. Tinku used to have parties, Naveen used to bear the expenses. However, their close relationship did not last long.

Tinku started talking to Naveen abusing him. He used to speak wrongly in front of people even in public places. Naveen started feeling bad about this. He started keeping distance from her. On the other hand, Naveen’s wife was objecting to his coming home. Naveen banned her from coming home and stopped meeting. Tinku was feeling bad about this. That’s why he conspired with his partner to kill.

Naveen Verma (38), a resident of Tarkari Gali, Lohamandi, had the work of gilt anklets. He was murdered on the night of 4th August. Sikandra police had arrested BJP leader Tinku and his accomplice Anil, a resident of Bhairo Bazar, Chhatta’s murderer in Arsena. Naveen’s severed head was recovered from his car, while the torso was lying on the road.

According to the police, Tinku had called Naveen to meet him. He got her drunk and took her with him in the car. Naveen was killed. After this, the head was severed from the torso by cutting it with a knife. There was a preparation to dispose of the dead body, but the police caught red handed. In the murder case, the police got many clues from the call details and recording of the accused Tinku and the deceased Naveen.

  • Naveen’s head was cut off from the body. The head was kept in polythene. After this, after throwing the torso in the forest along the highway in village Arsena, they had prepared to throw the head in the Yamuna.
  • Police caught the accused with torso and head. There was blood in the car. Blood was also found on the clothes of the accused. There was blood on the gloves as well. This is important evidence.
  • From July 31 to August 4, there was a conversation between Tinku and Naveen on mobile. This call detail came to know.
  • On August 3, Tinku called Anil. Was told to complete the work. It is feared that he was asking to bring the knife.
  • Tinku and Naveen were seen in the footage of CCTV cameras of the Public Works Department.
  • Naveen’s scooter was made to stand at the power station. After this, the accused took her in the car.
  • The accused were caught by SI Mohkam Singh, constable Suraj, home guards Arun and Ambika. The police have made 40 witnesses with them. Of these, 30 witnesses are important.
