A person was seriously injured when a heavy jack plate fell from the portal beam of an under construction elevated metro station on Agra’s Fatehabad road on Monday morning. Thankfully a big accident was averted. A heavy part of the machine came down from a height of about 30 feet. Due to this, the generator outside the roadside ATM got damaged. The part rolled and entered the ATM, where one person suffered serious injuries.
Work is going on to add pillar
Pillars are standing for Fatehabad Road Metro Station on Mughal Pulia located on Fatehabad Road, the work of connecting them is going on. Due to the carelessness of the executive organization Sam India, the hydraulic jack plate fell on the road to lift the beam and pillar. There was a lot of traffic going down the road. It was crowded. There was chaos on the road due to the sudden accident. Police and Metro officials reached on information. The injured person was taken to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses said – accident happened due to negligence
Eyewitnesses say that safety standards are not being taken care of during the construction and welding work, due to which the accident happened. Someone’s life could have been lost due to negligence. At the same time, Metro officials say that investigation is being done on the spot. The reasons for the incident are being ascertained. One person is reported to be injured, who has been admitted to SN Medical College for treatment. Let us inform that the work of three elevated metro stations is going on on Fatehabad Road.
