Aurangabad : City Crime Branch suspends characterless and drug addict ACP Vishal Dhume for molesting a woman late at night and forcibly entering her house The orders were issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs. After this order, there is a wave of happiness among the people of Aurangabad. MP Imtiyaz Jaleel had warned to take out a march on the Police Commissionerate keeping Aurangabad closed for not suspending the characterless ACP till Wednesday evening. Taking this warning seriously, Home Ministry and State Director General of Police Rajneesh Seth issued an order to suspend the drug addict ACP Dhume.
In the order issued to suspend Vishal Dhume, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that a case has been registered against ACP Vishal Dhume under various sections at City Chowk Police Station in the city. The investigation into the case registered against Vishal Dhume is on. In exercise of the power conferred under sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Maharashtra Civil Services Rules, 1979, ACP Vishal Dhume is being placed under suspension with effect from January 16, as per the provision of section 4(1)(a) of the rule. As long as the drug addict ACP remains suspended, he will not be able to leave the city without permission from the city police commissioner. Leaving the city without permission would amount to misconduct and would make ACP Dhume eligible for separate disciplinary action, the order said.

Danve’s pressure also affected the police
By the way, on the morning of the incident coming to light last Sunday morning, the Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Council, Ambadas Danve reached the City Chowk Police Station and demanded the suspension of ACP Dhume. The top police officers were shying away from even registering a case against Vishal Dhume. But on Sunday morning itself, Danve contacted State Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on phone and informed him about the antics of drug addict and characterless ACP Vishal Dhume and demanded immediate suspension of him. In a tweet on Wednesday evening, Danve welcomed the order suspending ACP Vishal Dhume and said that Shiv Sena is always ready for the safety of mothers and sisters. Following the pressure exerted by Danve and the threat given by MP Jaleel to keep the city closed and march to the CP office, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday afternoon issued orders to suspend ACP Dhole.
