to raise, Due to sudden brake failure of ST bus packed with passengers from Buldhana towards Jamner, the driver hit a stone, causing the bus to turn unbalanced. Due to which the passengers in the bus have suffered minor injuries. Many passengers were injured in this accident. This incident happened during the evening of 23 February. In the evening, ST bus number MH-40 N-9097 of Buldhana Depot was going towards Jamner.
Meanwhile, the brakes of this ST bus suddenly failed in the Rajur Ghat complex adjacent to the city on the Buldhana-Malkapur road. The driver seriously tried to stop the ST bus as soon as he got an inkling of this. Mohegaon is at a distance of more than 5 km from Tirupati temple of Buldhana and in this ghat, the entire distance of 5 km is downhill. Without pressing the brake, the vehicle reached Mohegaon at full speed. Driver Lonkhade hit the bus with a big stone. Due to which the bus turned unbalanced.
Big accident averted, saved from ditch
On the other side of the Ghat there is a deep moat, which is more than 500 feet deep. A big accident was averted because the bus overturned on the spot. During this, many passengers in the bus have suffered injuries. Due to this accident, the traffic on this route was stopped. The passengers in the bus started shouting, hearing which the people traveling through this route pulled out the passengers from the ST bus. Umakant Chaudhary, the carrier of the ST bus, immediately informed the department about the incident. The injured passengers were admitted to the district government hospital for treatment.
Traffic stopped for two and a half hours
Due to this accident on the Buldhana to Motala road, Malkapur road and due to the short road in the ghat, long queues of vehicles started from both the sides after this accident. This traffic came to a standstill for about two and a half hours, due to which the drivers had to face a lot of trouble.
