On Thursday, an uncontrollable truck ran over a 11th class girl going to school in Karma Bazar on Mirzapur-Robertsganj main road. The seriously injured student died on the way to the hospital. After the accident, the driver fled leaving the truck. Police is searching for him.
Khushi (16), daughter of Indradev, a resident of Dhaurhara village of Karma police station area, was a student of class 11 in Moti Singh Inter College. On Thursday she left home for school. A speeding truck coming from behind hit the girl student near the bridge at Karma Bazar. The girl student suffered serious injuries in the accident. She fell on the road and started sobbing. After some time his brother studying in the same school also reached there. Seeing the sister injured, she immediately informed the family members. With the help of people nearby, the girl student was taken to the district hospital, where after first aid, the doctors referred her to Varanasi after seeing her condition serious. The student died while being taken to Varanasi. CO Ghorawal Sanjeev Singh Katiyar told that the body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. After the accident, the driver fled away by parking the truck at some distance from the spot. Search for him is going on. Further action will be taken on the basis of the family’s tahrir.
