However, Bhagwat intervened saying that the nation has only one father and everyone is ‘Bharat ki santan’ (child of the nation).

During the meeting, Bhagwat reportedly raised the issue of the use of the word “kafir” for Hindus, saying it does not send a good message. The group of Muslim intellectuals, on their part, objected to the calling of Muslims “Jihadi” and “Pakistani” by some right-wing activists.

RSS chief accepted the views of intellectuals

He also reportedly told Bhagwat that the original intention behind the word ‘kafir’ was somewhat different, but is now being used as ‘misbehaviour’. It is learned that the RSS chief accepted the views of the intellectuals and underlined that “the DNA of all Hindus and Muslims is the same.” The All India Imam Organization is the representative organization of the Indian Imam community and it is claimed that it is the largest Imam organization in the world.
