In view of the spread of dengue, the Allahabad High Court has sought information from the government regarding its prevention in schools. The court has asked what arrangements have been made in the schools. Especially for children. What arrangements have been made for them to avoid infection. Whether they have been made aware in this matter or not.
Fixing the date of December 5 for the hearing of the case, the court has asked the government to submit the report. The case is being heard by a division bench of Justice Manoj Mishra and Justice Vikas Wednesday. Before the commencement of the hearing, a report was presented by the Health Department regarding the arrangements made for the treatment of dengue in Prayagraj.
It was told that beds in hospitals are safe for treatment. Physicians are stationed there. Arrangements have been made for investigation and medicines. Apart from this, there is sufficient quantity of platelets in the blood banks. It was deficient during the rise of infection but now its deficiency has also been removed. Along with this, its demand has also decreased. Advocate AK Goel argued on behalf of the government. Taking the report on record, the court fixed December 5 as the date for hearing the matter.
