Allahabad High Court has ordered the preparation of seniority list on the basis of appointment in 68500 assistant teacher recruitment case. Along with this, the court canceled the order dated 25 June 2022 of the Basic Education Secretary, in which it was asked to issue the seniority list according to the posting at the new place.
Justice Ashutosh Srivastava has given this order while simultaneously disposing of 31 petitions including Dinesh Singh. In all these petitions, the order dated 25 June 2022 of the Basic Education Secretary was challenged. The secretary, through his order, had sought an affidavit from the teachers that seniority would be decided on the basis of posting and not appointment.
He will not claim on the basis of appointment in future. On behalf of the petitioners, posting was sought in their district. After this, the secretary through his order sought an affidavit asking him not to claim seniority on the basis of old appointment in future.
