Circle Institute, New Delhi: A total of 1,997 road accidents occurred in the year 2021 due to the use of mobile phones while driving. In this, 1,040 people lost their lives, such information has come to the fore in the report of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
The report titled ‘Road Accidents in India – 2021’ is famous. In the year 2021, 555 road accidents took place due to red signal crossing. Yat 222 people lost their life, ase ya ahwalat bhelte aahe. And in 2021, a total of 3,625 accidents have occurred due to potholes, and 1,481 people have died, such reports have been mentioned.
It has been mentioned in it that there is a need to reduce road accidents by making concerted efforts of all the agencies of the central and state governments. There have been reports of the Ministry formulating a multi-pronged strategy to address the problems related to road safety.
In the year 2021, a total of four lakh 12 thousand 432 road accidents took place in the country. In this one lakh 53 thousand 972 people died, and three lakh 84 thousand 448 people were injured.
