The BJP is planning to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all district-level offices of the party have been asked to organize “Seva Pakhwada” or service camps for the next 16 days.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 72 on September 17, with politicians and dignitaries wishing him well.

With the BJP planning to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on Saturday, all district-level offices of the party have been asked to organize “Seva Pakhwada” or service camps for the next 16 days.

Mr Modi will speak at four diverse field events, including the release of cheetahs brought from Namibia in a national park in Madhya Pradesh.

Congratulating him, President Draupadi Murmu said that the work of nation building is progressing continuously under his incomparable hard work, dedication and creativity.

Congratulating Shri Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said that his transformative vision and inspirational leadership has taken ‘India’ to new heights of glory.

“Wishing the Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri @narendramodi ji a very Happy Birthday. His transformative vision and inspiring leadership have taken India to new heights of glory. May he be blessed with good health, happiness and many more years of service to our nation,” he tweeted.

Opposition leaders including Congress’s Rahul Gandhi, NCP’s Sharad Pawar, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also congratulated him.

Ministerial colleagues of Mr. Modi congratulated his leadership and administrative skills on his birthday.

Home Minister Amit Shah hailed him as the flag bearer of Indian culture, who connected the country to its roots and took it forward in every field.

Under his visionary leadership, India has emerged as a world power and he has distinguished himself as a global leader who is respected in the world, Mr Shah said.

Shri Modi’s life is an epitome of service and dedication, he said, describing him as the architect of a secure, strong and ‘self-reliant’ New India.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that his leadership has promoted progress and good governance like never before and has taken India’s prestige and self-respect to a new height.

He has given a new dimension to Indian politics and has given importance to development as well as welfare of the poor, Mr. Singh said.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also congratulated the Prime Minister “Happy Birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Mr Gandhi tweeted.

Andhra Pradesh Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. Posting a picture of the Prime Minister on his Twitter site, Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi said that on behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu, he extended his best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a long and healthy life in the service of the nation.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin tweeted: “Happy Birthday to Hon’ble Prime Minister Thiru @NarendraModi. I wish you a long and healthy life.”

Similarly, Edappadi Palaniswami, former Tamil Nadu CM and interim general secretary of AIADMK, in a tweet, “heartfelt wishes to the dynamic and visionary Hon’ble Prime Minister Thiru @narendramodi Avl on his birthday.”

“May your vision and mission be to turn the world into a reality for our country. I pray to God for a long, healthy life of duty and service. @PMOIndia,” he said.
