New Delhi: Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal has sent goods to Twitter India regarding child pornography on social media sites and Twitter. He has claimed that Twitter, one of the world’s largest social media platforms, has become a medium to sell pornographic videos of children. Videos of rape of girls are flooded on Twitter. Porn videos of girls are being sold for Rs 20-30.
Does Twitter follow only US law?
Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal said that the head of Twitter India has been summoned to come to the Delhi Commission for Women’s office and answer it. He also asked him whether Twitter follows only US law. The commission has also issued summons to the DCP of Cyber Cell of Delhi Police regarding this matter.

Swati Maliwal further told that, the commission has started investigation. Take video for Rs 20 This is going on on Twitter. The whole racket of this is going on. School girl videos, child pornography, this has been going on for months or even years.

Swati Maliwal wrote in a tweet that, ‘Thousands of people are sharing videos of rape of small girls. Videos of women taking a bath are being put through intelligence cameras. These companies follow the laws abroad and turn a blind eye to obscenity and rape of women in India.
He also wrote that, ‘Twitter, one of the world’s largest social media platforms, has become a medium to sell pornographic videos of children. Videos of raping young girls are flooded on Twitter. Porn videos of girls are being sold for ₹ 20- ₹ 30.

…then will issue an arrest warrant
The chairperson of the Women’s Commission further said that till 26 September, the Twitter India Policy Head has been summoned. There is a big gang working on it. He said that Delhi Police should immediately register an FIR on this matter. If we do not respond to our summons, then we can also issue arrest warrant, the authority of this is with the Delhi Commission for Women.
