Nagpur. On Sunday morning at Vidhan Bhawan Chowk, the driver of your bus hit a woman constable riding on a two-wheeler. The badly injured woman was admitted to the hospital for treatment but the condition is said to be critical. Police registered a case against the accused bus driver and took him into custody. The injured constable was told Telephone Exchange Chowk resident Suchita Raju Balamwar (50). He is posted in the Head Quarter.
Suchita as usual on Sunday morning at 8.00 am on her two wheeler no. On MH.33/L.3446 going to Police Headquarters. While crossing Vidhan Bhawan Chowk, Aapli Bus No. going from All India Radio towards RBI. He was hit by the driver of MH40/BL.3923. Suchita jumped from her car and fell on the road on her head. His car dragged under the bus. People passing on the way ran for help.
On getting information about the incident, PSI Krishna Pullevad along with his team reached the spot. Didn’t wait for the ambulance because of the serious injury. Immediately asked Manoj Tembhere (26), the driver of the Aapli bus, to remove the vehicle. In the same bus, Suchita was taken to Mayo Hospital for treatment. Suchita’s condition is said to be critical due to a serious head injury. They have a son and daughter. Both are taking school education. Sadar Police has registered a case against Manoj under various sections.
