On the occasion of Shardiya Navratri, UP Roadways has made the path of Vindhyachal easy. It has been decided by the Prayagraj region of Roadways to run buses for Vindhyachal every 30 minutes on the occasion of Navratri. Buses will start operating from September 26. Devotees will get buses for Vindhyachal every half an hour from Prayagraj on the occasion of Navratri till October 4.
Roadways has arranged a total of 195 buses for this. Out of this, 130 buses will run from Prayagraj region, while 65 buses will be from Varanasi region. Buses will operate from Zero Road in Prayagraj from 5 am. A total of 50 buses have been allotted here. Buses will be available every half hour till 12 pm. If there is a crowd of devotees then buses can be run throughout the night. 25 buses have also been kept in reserve here.
Regional Manager MK Trivedi said that on the occasion of Shardiya Navratri, thousands of devotees visit Maa Vindhyavasini. He said that a control room has been set up at Civil Lines bus station for the operation of buses. From there 24 hours monitoring will be done on the respective route. Hari Shankar Pandey, assistant regional manager of Mirzapur depot, has been nominated by the roadways as the officer of the fair. Kalpana Tiwari will remain in-charge of Zero Road station. During this, the team of employees will also monitor the operation of the buses.
Buses will also run from Pratapgarh, Lalganj, Badshahpur
On the occasion of Navratri, buses will also run for Vindhyachal from Pratapgarh, Lalganj, Badshahpur of Prayagraj region. From these three places, five buses each will be run for Vindhyachal.
Special buses for Kada Dham too
Hundreds of devotees also visit Kaushambi’s Kada Dham on the occasion of Navratri. Roadways will also operate buses for the convenience of the pilgrims going there. These buses will run from Leader Road Bus Station. However, their number has not yet been determined.
