LucknowThe Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, surrounded the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav in a strong manner on the issue of health. The impunity of CM Yogi was not seen like this. Chief Minister Yogi made Uttar Pradesh happy by improving the health facilities that were already in bad condition before 2017, but when Akhilesh Yadav spoke on this, the CM replied in the entire house on this issue.

It is noteworthy that Yogi Adityanath has kept health among the top priorities. Recently Yogi has launched health ATM in Gorakhpur and has resolved to set up 4600 health ATMs in the state. Ayushman Pakhwada is being celebrated in the state. 4 years are being completed on 23rd September. Crores of people have been benefited under the Arogya Mela, so the dream of running a medical college in every district is on the verge of being fulfilled. The way Yogi Adityanath controlled the epidemic during Kovid, it is being appreciated in the country and even abroad. Uttar Pradesh has set the record for applying the maximum number of Kovid vaccines in the country, so this season it has been successful in controlling Japanese Encephalitis, which has become synonymous with fear.

Health ATM will be there at every PHC

Health ATM facilities will be available at all 4,600 primary and community health centers in the state in three months. After the installation of health ATMs at the health centers, a person of the village will also be able to go to the center and get more than 59 free tests done in 5 minutes. In health ATM, along with general tests like weight, pulse rate, important tests like cardiac, blood sugar, urine, dengue, malaria, hepatitis, arthritis profile, pregnancy test, typhoid will also be done. Medical consultation can be taken by sending its test report online through tele-consultancy.

11.35 crores treated in Arogya Mela

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had started the Arogya Mela in February 2020. In 61 fairs organized so far, more than 11 crore 35 lakh 56 thousand patients have been treated. Poor families have benefited the most. Due to the fair being held on Sunday, the general public will be able to go to the PHC on a holiday and get health check-up done. Out of 61 Arogya Melas held so far, 1.74 lakh critical patients were referred to higher health centres.

65 medical colleges are being operated

Under the policy of one district-one medical college, the work of establishing government medical colleges with modern specialist medical facilities in every district is in progress. So far 65 medical colleges are being run in the state. 22 are under construction. AIIMS is operating in Gorakhpur and Rae Bareli.

6.51 crore people got Ayushman card

On September 23, 4 years of Ayushman Yojana are going to be completed. In these four years, 6.51 crore people have been linked to the Ayushman card scheme in the state. Under this, the beneficiary gets an insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh.

UP tops in Kovid Management

Apart from WHO and NITI Aayog, the corona management of Uttar Pradesh was also appreciated by the representatives of countries like Australia-Canada. UP introduced the model of corona management. Today Uttar Pradesh tops the country in Covid testing and vaccination. So far 38.11 crore free Kovid vaccinations have been done in the state. All adult citizens have been given 100% first dose and 99.9 percent second dose. Precautions have also been applied to 3.61 crore adults. In adolescent girls of 15-17 years, the first dose 100% and the second dose 93.9 percent has been applied. Similarly, the coverage of first dose is 100 percent and second dose is 91.2 percent in children of 12-14 years.

Improving infant-maternal mortality

In UP, in five and a half years, about 84 percent children have been born under the supervision of skilled health workers. In the case of infant mortality, a decrease of more than 18 percent has been registered. Earlier, about 67 per cent institutional deliveries took place in Uttar Pradesh, which has registered an increase of 17 per cent. Before the Yogi government, the infant mortality rate in the state was 78.1 percent, which has come down to 59.8 percent. The number of women affected by anemia in Uttar Pradesh has come down by 5.1 percent. There has been a decrease of 7.4 percent in the cases of children under normal weight in the state, which is more than 3.7 percent at the national level. 69.67 percent of children aged 12 to 23 months have been fully immunized. The sex ratio of the state has also improved. Earlier there were 995 females per 1000 males, but now there are 1017 females.

Purvanchal freed from encephalitis

As a result of communicable disease control and Dastak campaign against AES-JE virus in the state, Purvanchal region has become free from the havoc of encephalitis. Now 95 percent of the deaths due to this disease have been controlled. In 40 years from 1977 to 2017, 50 thousand innocent people died due to this disease. From 2017 onwards, it was gradually brought under control.

Free dialysis facility in all district hospitals

Free dialysis facility has been made available by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 55 hospitals of about 54 districts.

24 hour ambulance

The state government is operating the ambulance service 24 hours and 7 days. A total of 4720 ambulances are currently providing services. 102 Ambulance 2270, 108 Ambulance 2200 and ALS (Advance Life Support) Ambulance 250 are functional. At the same time, the quick response time of ambulance has been fixed at 15 minutes in urban and rural areas.
