If this happens then the BJP will be given a tough competition in the coming Loksabha elections.

The electoral equation of the entire Purvanchal may change if Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s candidature is decided from the Kurmi-dominated Phulpur parliamentary seat. The Kurmi candidate has won eight times in the elections held so far in the Phulpur Lok Sabha seat, which was the birthplace of the country’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. Apart from being a Kurmi, Nitish Kumar is known as a strong leader of this community in Bihar. Have met Rahul-Akhilesh

Apart from this, success can also be achieved in tying other backward and very backward castes into the political camp. This is the reason why JU workers are drawing the party’s attention for Nitish’s candidature from Phulpur. For this, many leaders have also sent letters to the JDU President. Discussions have also started in opposition parties regarding Nitish’s meeting with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and SP President Akhilesh Yadav, who went on a campaign to form a grand alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Congress’s All India Working Committee member and Rajya Sabha member Pramod Tiwari gets serious when it comes to the mention of Nitish’s candidature from Phulpur. When Bahujan Samaj Party was preparing its land in the state, at that time Jang Bahadur Patel was also with Kanshi Ram. Kanshi Ram and Jang Bahadur were identified as Guru-disciples. In that election, the disciple had won over Guru by a margin of 16 thousand 21 votes. In the same election, Apna Dal founder Sonelal Patel had also tried to make his political identity from Phulpar.
