“Only one girl’s video has been leaked”, Chandigarh University issued a statement amid protests, 10 things A to Z Counsel

RS Bawa, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Chandigarh University, in an official statement said that the reports of MMS videos being made of different girl students are completely fake and baseless.

Bawa said that in this case all the phones and other related devices have been handed over to the police. So that the police can investigate the whole matter seriously.

The university has issued this statement at a time when it was being said that more than 60 such objectionable videos have been found in the phones of girl students.

In the investigation of this case, the police has also sent a team to Himachal Pradesh. It is being told that an acquaintance of the accused girl lives in Shimla. Preparations are being made to interrogate him too.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has assured that the matter will be investigated with utmost seriousness. Also, strict action will be taken against the culprits.

The National Commission for Women has also issued a statement regarding this matter. It has been told that he has taken this whole matter very seriously. The Chairperson of the Women’s Commission Rekha Sharma has also written a letter to the DGP of Punjab regarding the investigation of the matter.

The Aam Aadmi Party has also termed this incident in Chandigarh University as shameful. Along with this, there has also been talk of investigation of the case and action against the culprits.

On the other hand, students are protesting against the Chandigarh University administration regarding this whole matter.

The university administration has said in an issued statement regarding this whole matter that only one girl is involved in this incident.

The police is currently investigating this entire matter. In view of the seriousness of the matter, mobile phones of many students have also been confiscated. Along with this, many students are also being questioned.
