On Monday, Britain’s longest-serving monarch Queen Elizabeth II was cremated, in which people from all over the world arrived in Britain to take part. Those watching the live coverage of her funeral have had moments when Queen Elizabeth was crowned 69 years ago.
Zari exporters had also arrived from Agra then to take part in the coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth. The East West Travel Company, through Air India International flight, had made a special trip to select people of the country for the coronation ceremony of the Queen, in which Ajanta Dairy founder Babulal Agarwal also participated.

Banwari Lal Agrawal, resident of Kamla Nagar, told that his father Late Babulal Agarwal was one of the biggest zari exporters of the country during the period of independence. In Britain and America, his firm Mohan Embroidery Works used to export zari. On hearing the news of the coronation of the Queen, her father specially decided to visit England.
Many people from all over the country had arrived for the Queen’s coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey, her father was one of them. He was also the director of the travel company. Photos of people who had returned from the ceremony were published in the newspapers of that period.
