On the complaint of the Chief Proctor of the University, a case has been registered against the students in Colonelganj Kotwali.

FIR has been registered against students protesting against fee hike in Allahabad Central University. Along with serious sections of IPC, a case has been registered under Seven CLA Act. In this, FIR has been registered against 15 named and about 100 unknown students. This case has been registered in Colonelganj Kotwali on the complaint of Professor Harsh Kumar, Chief Proctor of the University.

The students are accused of taking out processions, locking up and disturbing classes on the campus on September 12. 15 students including Ajay Yadav Samrat, Akhilesh Yadav, Satyam Kushwaha, Ayush Priyadarshi, Manjit Patel have been nominated.
The FIR states that on September 12, 15 nominated students and 100 other students were creating a ruckus in the campus raising slogans. The main gate of the university was locked, due to which the staff and teachers had trouble coming, many students are not involved in their movement, they are also threatening them. So it becomes a criminal case and FIR should be registered on it. Investigation is being done by registering an FIR against 15 known and 100 unknown people in the Colonel Khana of Prayagraj.
However, no arrest has been made in this case yet. Police officers say that further action will be taken after investigation.
Let us inform that the agitation of the students against the hike in fees in the university is going on continuously. The university has increased the fees for most courses by up to 4 times.
