Abhishek Singh Resigns From PCC: The troubles of the Congress are not taking the name of diminishing. The news of a break in the Uttarakhand Congress has come to the fore. Abhishek Singh (Abhishek Singh), a former party president in the state and son of senior Congress leader Pritam Singh, has resigned as a member of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). He has resigned saying that leaders with big and mass base are being neglected.
In the resignation sent to the Congress President on Monday, he has demanded that a senior leader be given preference in his place. However, he has also said that he will continue to serve the Congress party. Recently, Congress had released the list of State Congress Committee in which Abhishek Singh’s name was also there. Just three days ago, Abhishek Singh was made a member of the PCC.
What did Abhishek Singh say in the letter
In his letter, Abhishek Singh has written that I express my gratitude to you for being appointed a member of the State Congress Committee. To strengthen Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, it is very important to strengthen the Congress in the state. Many senior and mass-based leaders have not been able to find a place in the State Congress Committee, due to which the people of Congress are showing anger. I am giving my resignation so that the Congress family does not face any problem in future.
Who is Abhishek Singh?
However, Abhishek Singh has also said that he will continue to work for the Congress like his grandfather Gulab Singh and father Pritam Singh. Abhishek Singh is the son of Pritam Singh. Pritam Singh is an MLA from Chakrata assembly seat. He has also been the President of the State Congress Committee (PCC President) from 2017 to 2021. Apart from this, Pritam Singh has also been the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly.
