In the Civil Supplies Corporation scam case of Chhattisgarh, the ED had filed an application in the Supreme Court and also demanded to transfer the case out of Chhattisgarh. The case is related to cancellation of anticipatory bail of accused officers Dr. Alok Shukla and Anil Tuteja. The ED wants to interrogate both the accused in the scam, Dr Alok Shukla and Anil Tuteja on remand. In 2015, an alleged scam of Rs 36,000 crore came to the fore in the public distribution system in the state. After this, the Economic Offenses Wing i.e. EOW and Anti Corruption Bureau of Chhattisgarh Police raided 28 locations of officers and employees of Civil Supplies Corporation simultaneously on 12 February 2015. Crores of rupees were recovered in this action. Apart from this, many documents related to corruption, hard disk and diary were seized.

Among those made accused in the same case are Dr. Alok Shukla, the then Secretary of the Food Department and Anil Tuteja, Managing Director of Civil Supplies Corporation. The EOW had filed a chargesheet on July 15, 2015, in which three officers of the Civil Supplies Corporation, Girish Sharma, Arvind Dhruv and Jeet Ram Yadav, were made the main witnesses. These three officers had said in their statement that they used to get a share in the bribe amount.

After the hearing of the case, the Chhattisgarh High Court had directed to issue summons to these three officers as accused. The High Court had also said that a person involved in corruption for years cannot become a witness, while the EOW had said during its investigation that it was his right to make a witness or the accused.
