In Punjab’s Mohali, students of a private university staged a protest against “rumours” of recording objectionable videos of several girl students, police said. The protest took place around midnight on Saturday at the Chandigarh University campus on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh road.
Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Viveksheel Soni told reporters that preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested student shared her own video with a person who is said to be from Himachal Pradesh and her role is also being probed.
