West Bengal TMC Saugata Roy: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee recently made such a statement, which surprised all the political pundits. Mamta had said that she does not think that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is behind the excesses of central investigative agencies. Mamta Banerjee, one of the fiercest critics of the Modi government, put the blame on BJP leaders. Now the statement of another TMC leader has come on this matter.
TMC MP Saugata Roy said, “West Bengal Assembly has passed a resolution that CBI and ED are being misused in the state. When asked about CM Mamata Banerjee’s statement, she said that she feels that CBI-ED action is being taken not under the direction of PM but instigated by other people of BJP, only they can tell what is its political significance.”

resolutions passed in the assembly
On a resolution in the assembly against the excesses of central investigative agencies, Mamata Banerjee urged the Prime Minister to ensure that the agenda of the central government and the interests of her party do not mix. The BJP opposed the resolution which was later passed by the assembly. Mamta Banerjee said that the present central government is behaving in a dictatorial manner. This proposal is not against any particular, but against the partisan work of central agencies.
‘BJP leaders threaten everyday’
Mamta Banerjee said that every day, BJP leaders threaten to get the leaders of opposition parties arrested by CBI and ED. Should central agencies work in this way in the country? I don’t think Prime Minister Narendra Modi is behind this, but there are some BJP leaders who are misusing CBI and ED for their own interests.
