At the same time, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had announced during the monsoon session to deposit Rs 15,000 for the first phase in the bank accounts of the suffering farmers across the state, but the amount of help was not deposited in the account of a single farmer in the district.

The district administration itself is aware of not getting the funds. The farmers of the district are waiting for the help from the government at the earliest. 2,67,092 farmers have been disrupted in the district who have suffered heavy losses. At the same time, in 6 districts of Nagpur division, a total of 7.98 lakh hectares have been damaged in which 8.63 lakh farmers have been affected. To give compensation to them, a proposal has been sent to the administration demanding Rs 1157 crore.
