T20 World Cup 2022 Virat Kohli Rohit Sharma India vs Australia: T20 series will be played between India and Australia before T20 World Cup 2022. Rohit told that Virat is for the third option of opening in Team India. They are not in any confusion regarding KL Rahul.
Regarding Kohli’s opening, Rohit said, “Virat Kohli is our third opener and he will open in some matches. They played very well against Afghanistan in the last match. We are happy. I would also like to make it clear that KL Rahul will open for us in the T20 World Cup.
Kohli had performed brilliantly in the Asia Cup 2022. He scored 276 runs in 5 matches of this tournament. During this, Kohli had scored one century and three half-centuries. Kohli finished second in terms of scoring the most runs in the Asia Cup 2022.
He said, “Rahul is a very important player of Team India. We are not in any kind of confusion. We know KL is a quality player and he will do well.
Significantly, the first match of the T20 series between India and Australia will be played on 20 September in Mohali. After this, the second match of the series will be played on 23 September in Nagpur. At the same time, the last match will be played in Hyderabad on 25 September. After this series, Team India will also play a series against South Africa.
