The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena on Tuesday stated whether or not or not the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) approves it, it will hold the social gathering’s annual Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park floor right here. Both the Uddhav Thackeray-led group and the rival camp led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, both Has sought permission to organize Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park in central Mumbai. Shiv Sena has been holding Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park since its inception. BMC has not yet taken any decision on this issue. Both the factions have also applied for permission to hold a rally at the MMRDA ground of Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) as an alternative. Last week, the Shinde camp got permission to hold a rally at BKC.

Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar said that the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena should be allowed to hold a rally at Shivaji Park and if permission is not granted then it should take recourse to law. “If the BKC floor is made obtainable for the Shinde camp, the Uddhav Thackeray-led group must be allowed to hold a rally at Shivaji Park,” Pawar stated.
