Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers protested outside the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Office on Tuesday, demanding an inquiry into the allegations against Adani group companies. While raising slogans, the memorandum was also handed over. During this, there was a fierce debate between the protesters and the police. Some workers, including the general secretary who had come from Sonbhadra, became unconscious, who were sent home after first aid. On the other hand, the police of Bhelupur police station have registered a case against 26 named and other unknowns, including party’s Purvanchal provincial in-charge Abhinav Rai and Kashi province president Pawan Tiwari, citing protest without permission. This case has been registered on the Tahrir of Durgakund outpost in-charge Anand Chaurasia.

Aam Aadmi Party workers protested outside the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Office at Gurudham on Tuesday. State spokesperson Mukesh Singh said that there should be an inquiry against Adani group companies. The money of all the investors has sunk. Despite this, the government is not taking effective steps. This has angered the public. Now the workers have come on the road. An all-out fight will be waged on this issue. He accused the police personnel of using force and said that some workers were injured in the scuffle. Sonbhadra district general secretary Shravan Kumar has been hurt. He was admitted to BHU for treatment. However, the police rejected the allegations outright. Kashi Prant President Pawan Tiwari, General Secretary Kailash Patel, Ghanshyam etc workers and office bearers were present during the demonstration.
