Rs 750 was taken as application fee from unreserved and other backward classes and Rs 550 from candidates of other reserved classes.
Competitive students say that if the application fee is taken into account, the selection board must have earned at least one billion rupees as application fee from the competitors. The board would also be getting the interest of such a huge amount, but the selection board is not able to declare the exam date. All the 10 posts of members in the board are lying vacant since April 8, 2022.
Eight months are about to be completed and the vacant posts of members have not been filled, while the application process for the recruitment of members has been completed on May 14, 2022 itself. Recruitment is stuck due to non-fulfilment of quorum. Whereas, the application process for TGT / PGT-2022 has been completed on 16 August. Competitive students say that in the talks held with the Chairman of the Board in August, assurance was received that the recruitment would be completed this year itself, but there is no anxiety about the examination as of now.
Chairman gave appointment today On the issue of declaration of exam date for TGT/PGT recruitment and re-opening of portal for increasing the number of posts, the Competitive Student Front had sought time for talks with the Chairman of the Selection Board. Morcha’s president Vicky Khan said that the chairman of the board has given time on December 8 at 12 noon for talks on these issues. A delegation of competing students will meet the President and present these issues to him.
