The Bombay High Court on Friday allowed Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena to maintain a Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park on October 5. The courtroom has issued an order to give the bottom to Shiv Sena of Uddhav faction from October 2 to 6 for preparations. The courtroom said- video recording of the occasion ought to be achieved. It will be the duty of the petitioner not to disturb the law and order. If any untoward incident occurs, the organizers will be responsible for it.

The Shinde faction had additionally sought permission to maintain a Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park, which was rejected by the courtroom. Shinde faction already has permission to maintain Dussehra rally at BKC floor. Hearing the petition of the Uddhav faction, the Bombay HC said- BMC has misused its powers in deciding the applying of the petitioners.

BMC didn’t reply on permission
The members of the Uddhav faction had sought permission from the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) on the Shiv Sena’s Dussehra rally to be held yearly at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. No response was obtained from BMC. On this the Uddhav faction had now approached the High Court.
