The ICC on Tuesday released the list of rules that are going to change from 1 October 2022. The Men’s Cricket Committee, led by former India captain Sourav Ganguly, recommended changes to the playing conditions in the third edition of the MCC’s 2017 Rules of Cricket. The findings were also shared with the Women’s Cricket Committee, which supported the recommendations. The new rules will come into effect from 1 October 2022, which means that the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in Australia next month will be played on the basis of these new rules.
