After the video surfaced, there was a huge uproar in Chandigarh University late on Saturday-Sunday. At the same time, girls and their families have been protesting in the university camp since morning.

Punjab Women’s Commission chairperson Manisha Gulati has also reached the university campus. He said that the matter is being thoroughly investigated. Giving information about this incident, SSP Mohali Viveksheel Soni said that this case is about a student shooting a video of other girl students. An FIR has been registered in this case and the accused student has been arrested. There is no report of any death related to this incident. As per the medical records, there is no report of suicide by anyone.

At the same time, it is being told that the accused girl is a resident of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab Police has left for Shimla to take custody of the youth to whom she has sent the videos in Shimla. At the same time, Shimla SP Monica Bhutungroo says that till now no contact has been made with Shimla Police.
