Mumbai : Regarding the statement made about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the problems of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari are not taking the name of ending. Now Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar has targeted Koshyari. He has said that Governor Koshyari has crossed all the limits of dignity and decorum of his post. Pawar has now appealed to President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in this matter. He said persons making such irresponsible statements should not be appointed on big posts. Pawar was speaking at a press conference held in Mumbai. He said that the post of Governor represents an institution and it is very important to maintain the dignity of that post.
Governor’s statement objectionable
Pawar said that even before this, Governor Koshyari has given many controversial statements. He said that his statement about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is very objectionable. The Nationalist Congress Party president further said that it does not behove a person holding a constitutional post to make such remarks. He said that I was present in the program where the governor made this controversial statement. Pawar said that there was no mention of me in Koshyari’s statement. The Governor talked about Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He said that the governor later praised Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but this is late knowledge.
