Savarkar’s poster put up in Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congressmen covered it with Gandhi’s photo when they came to know A to Z Counsel

The India Jodi Yatra of Rahul Gandhi being taken out from Kanyakumari to Kashmir will reach Kochi in Kerala on Thursday. Posters of freedom fighters were put up here to welcome the visit. Among them, a poster of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was also put up. As soon as the Congressmen came to know about this, they hurriedly put Gandhi’s photo on it.

Savarkar’s photo was put with his name. Govind Ballabh Pant’s photo was on the left side of this photo and Chandrashekhar Azad’s photo was on the right.

The yatra, which started from Kanyakumari on September 7, will reach Kochi on Thursday. Rahul Gandhi will also hold a press conference here. To welcome the yatra, tall banners have been put up, in which there are photos of freedom fighters. In one banner, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s photo was also placed in the middle of the photo of Govind Ballabh Pant and Chandrashekhar Azad.

As soon as the Congressmen came to know about this, immediately asked for a poster of Gandhiji and put it on the photo of Savarkar. Its photos and videos are going viral on social media. There has been no comment from Congress on this.

As soon as the Congressmen came to know about this, they got Gandhi’s stick and a photo of Gita installed on the photo of Savarkar.

The Bharat Jodi Yatra, which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, is in Kerala these days. From here the journey will travel through Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, UP, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab to the Union Territory of Kashmir. This journey of Rahul is about 3570 km. Through this yatra, Congress is focusing on 372 Lok Sabha seats.

Concept of Dandi March, team formed in every district
The concept of the yatra is taken from Mahatma Gandhi’s ‘Dandi March’. The responsibility of getting it down on the ground was given to Digvijay Singh. He has done ‘Narmada Parikrama’ of 3300 kms in 2017. Bharat Jodo Planning Committee was formed under the chairmanship of Digvijay. Coordinators were made in each state. After this a team was prepared in each district. In Delhi also, more than 20 people were associated with planning. Apart from Mukul Wasnik and KC Venugopal, there were people from organizations affiliated to Congress.

Journey started a month ahead of schedule
Earlier it was decided that the Yatra would start from October 2, 2022, but Rahul Gandhi said that it should be done first. After this the journey was started a month back. Accordingly, preparations were also completed.
