Richa Chadha was furious at those who called the film industry rubbish, said - it is affecting the employment of people

Richa Chadha On Boycott Trend: Richa Chadha has shared a long note defending the Hindi film industry from the recent criticism. The actress also reacted to the boycott trends and said that it has had an impact on employment in the industry. His fiancee Ali Fazal was also among those who showered love on his post. Richa on Friday took to her Instagram account to share a video of herself pulling her head out of the car during the Ganpati Visarjan ceremony.

He paired it with a video from the sets of a film where the crew worshiped Lord Ganesha before starting the shoot. Sharing the video, Richa said that those who criticize the Hindi film industry never went to the sets.

She wrote, “I am sticking my head out after 10 days of Ganesh Chaturthi and that, with a quiet prayer how we start shooting everyday in Hindi film industry… Vighnaharta (Lord Ganesh) It is called “Rolling Ganpati”, and ends with chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya. I wonder if people who call the Hindi film industry rubbish have ever visited the sets and worked there. Have seen people… looked them in the eye and repeated the BS… I highly doubt that.”

The actress further said that the boycott trend has affected the employment of people in the industry. Several films including Laal Singh Chaddha, Darlings, Raksha Bandhan and Brahmastra faced boycotts in recent times. Richa wrote, “I believe there were once again some boycott type calls in the industry to oust people from their employment, I also believe the film has made huge profits! The system has to be broken, revamped and of course changed. Everything will change soon. Chins up, heads up and may the force be with all of us.”

Ali Fazal commented on Richa’s post with a wink-face kissing emoji. Richa also mentioned in her post that she hasn’t been active on Instagram lately due to busy song shoots, which she described as the ‘toughest thing’ she has ever done, and because of ‘some personal preparations’. Reason too. Richa and Ali announced earlier this month that they are planning to tie the knot very soon. The two are yet to announce their wedding date, but it is reported that the pre-wedding festivities will begin in Delhi in late September and the ceremony will conclude with a reception in Mumbai in October.
