UP Assembly Monsoon Session: The monsoon session of the UP Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin from Monday, September 19. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement on Sunday. CM Yogi has announced to dedicate both Vidhan Sabha and Vidhan Parishad to women members on September 22. With this, Uttar Pradesh has become the first state to reserve a day for women members.
CM Yogi addressed the assembly and legislative council members of BJP and allies on the eve of the monsoon session. During this, the CM announced his historic decision. The Chief Minister has urged the women members to speak on Mission Shakti and other programs being run by the state government for the safety, dignity and self-reliance of the women of the state during the session. On September 22, 47 women members of the Legislative Assembly and 6 members of the Legislative Council will be present in the monsoon session.
CM made this request to the members
CM has also requested Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna to make a woman member as the presiding officer in both the houses to make this day special. Apart from this, CM Yogi urged the members to participate in the proceedings of the House with full devotion, give maximum time and demonstrate ideal conduct, saying that those who are not able to attend the proceedings of the House due to some reason, They should inform their whip so that the proceedings can start on time.
Asked the opposition to refrain from giving issues
The Chief Minister further said that the work done by Uttar Pradesh to control the spread of the lumpi virus should be told in both the houses. The opposition does not have issues, so efforts will be made to disrupt the proceedings of the House. We don’t have to give issues to the ‘unemployed’ opposition and we should be careful about what we say.
Yogi said that to celebrate the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on September 25, programs should be organized at the booth level and people should be made aware about the ideology and works of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Talking about joining the spirit of Vocal for Local, he said that the campaign should be taken to the grassroots level to achieve the goal of self-reliant India. CM Yogi said that on the first day of the session, all the members should get their medical checkup done in the camp set up by the Health Department.
