Nagpur. Vaccination campaign has been intensified to save cattle from lumpi epidemic in the district. According to the information received from the district administration, 12,474 animals have been vaccinated so far. 1.10 lakh vaccine doses have been received from the government and the administration has demanded 2.50 lakh vaccines.
It was informed that so far a total of 59 cattle lumps have been found in 12 villages of Hingna, Savaner, Parshiwani, Kamathi, Nagpur Rural, Mouda and Katol tehsils of the district, which have been kept separately and treatment is going on. At the same time, 3 have died due to this disease so far.
