Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said at the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) public representatives’ convention on Sunday that within 10 years, the seeds of his party have been planted in 20 states and union territories. He said that this seed has become a tree in Delhi and Punjab and now it is going to happen in Gujarat also. Describing the work done for honest politics, education and health and free rewari as the strength of his party, the AAP convener said that people are liking these four things very much. He also said that the people of the country are fed up with other parties, hence preferring AAP. Amid the allegations and arrests against AAP leaders, Kejriwal also said that the jail is not that bad and he too has spent 15 days in it.
Arvind Kejriwal said in the first conference of the elected representatives of the party in different parts of the country, “Today the whole country is embracing the Aam Aadmi Party, because people are fed up with it. People all over the country are liking four things of the Aam Aadmi Party and are not being embraced by them. The first thing is the honesty of the Aam Aadmi Party. Our people are staunchly honest people. People are not convinced that even politics can be honest. People have seen honest politics for the first time in 75 years.” Delhi Chief Minister said that no matter how much mud they throw, people are not believing.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also described the work done on education and health as his strength. He said, “The other thing is education, the work we did on education, these leaders never looked at the school with their eyes. Now inside Gujarat, very big leaders of his country had gone from Delhi to inaugurate four schools. People want our children to get good education. The fourth thing is health services. Mohalla clinics and hospitals are being discussed in the world today.
Taking a jibe at PM Modi for making free rewari dangerous for the country, Kejriwal also called it a gift and strength of his party. He said, “Fourth thing is freebie, this too Aam Aadmi Party brought in the politics of India, free ki rewari. Rewari is neither being eaten nor is it being spit out. These four things are honest politics, education, health and free B…. It is said that by doing free B, the government will go into loss. People should not get free facilities. There is a debt of 3.5 lakh crores on the Gujarat government, if they did not give anything free, then from where did this loan go. Looted all the money and ate it, so the debt went up. In Punjab, we have taken over the government, there is also a loan of 3.5 lakh crores on it, no one had given it free there. Where did the loan come from? The people of Delhi are getting everything free, yet there is no loan. By giving free B, the debt does not increase.
The Delhi CM also responded to the ongoing investigation against many of his ministers and MLAs. He denied the allegations and called everyone innocent and honest. Arvind Kejriwal said that many more of his MLAs may be sent to jail now. He has asked everyone to prepare to go to jail for three months. He said, “I had not seen the freedom struggle, but the way each and every MLA of AAP is facing them is no less than a freedom fighter. There is no difference between greed and intimidation. I want to tell everyone, they will put everyone in jail. Put Satyendra Jain, Amanatullah arrested, Sisodia and Kailash Gehlot will also be done. If you are ready to go to jail for three to four months, then they will not be able to spoil anything and jail is not so bad, I also went for 15 days.
