Pimpri: Indrayani Thadi-2023 Festival, which became the center of attraction for visitors in Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune District, has done a business of more than seven and a half crore rupees in five days. . Giving this information, Shivanjali Sakhi Manch President Pooja Landge has also claimed that the audience has given a ‘record breaking’ response to this festival and a crowd of more than 24 lakh people turned up.
‘Indrayani Thadi-2023’ festival was organized with the vision of BJP’s city president and MLA Mahesh Landge (MLA Mahesh Landge) with the aim of empowering women and giving opportunities to newcomers. The festival was inaugurated on January 25 by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil. The festival concluded on Sunday in the presence of state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. On this occasion Dada Vedak, head of Bharatiya Satsang of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, area campaigner Anna Pandit was present.
20 thousand women got employment
The festival received response from women self-help groups from all over Maharashtra. Spread over 17 acres of land, the festival distributed stalls to over 1,000 women self-help groups. About 20 thousand women got employment through this. Seeing the huge arrival in the festival, satisfaction was expressed in the women’s section. The grand replica of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, village culture, idols of Dharamveer Chhatrapi Sambhaji Maharaj and Shoorveer Maratha Sardar became the center of attraction at various places. Also, statues of late MLAs Laxman Jagtap, Mukta Tilak, Baburao Pacharne, Digambar Bhedge were put up to show their allegiance to the BJP. He expressed his loyalty and gratitude to the BJP. Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis, Guardian Minister Patil appreciated the concept.

Due to all this Indrayani Thadi became the talk of the town in entire Maharashtra.

MLA Mahesh Landge said that the festival started with the objective of empowering women and giving opportunities to newcomers has been fruitful. This is the first such event in the history of Pune district, which has such a huge crowd. This event became famous in just four-five years as Maharashtra’s biggest ‘Indrayani Thadi’. All the spectators, Pimpri-Chinchwadkar, participating women’s savings groups, stall holders, coordination committee, police administration, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation administration and my colleagues were directly involved in the making. The festival was successful, MLA Landge responded by saying that I express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed indirectly.
