In fact, the food of more than 200 Kabaddi players was prepared and kept in the toilet at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium in Saharanpur. A video of this had surfaced. Since Saturday, pictures of rice plate placed on the toilet floor are going viral on social media. Later this rice was served to the players participating in the Kabaddi tournament in Saharanpur district.
The sports officer had denied the allegations
A three-day state level Under-17 Girls Kabaddi tournament has started in Saharanpur district from Friday. The arrangements for the stay and food of the players were made in the stadium itself. After the pictures surfaced on social media, Saharanpur Sports Officer Animesh Saxena had denied the allegations and termed them as “baseless”. Saxena had said that the food served here to the players in the tournament is of good quality.

However, the players alleged that rice was cooked near the swimming pool and then taken out in a large plate and placed on the toilet floor. He alleged that vegetables and puris were also prepared and kept in the toilet. Where even standing was becoming difficult due to the foul smell. An inquiry has now been set up in this matter and Saharanpur Regional Sports Officer Animesh Saxena has been suspended.
