The health department and the organizations of doctors, the Nursing Home Association and the Indian Medical Association have become firm on the operation of fake hospitals. Doctors’ organizations have rejected the list of 153 doctors issued by the health department. He says that all the doctors are doing the right thing. The Nursing Home Association and the Indian Medical Association met on Sunday and expressed deep displeasure over the list of 153 doctors issued by the Health Department. These organizations allege that 80 percent of the hospitals in the Health Department’s list are run by quacks, ambulance drivers, property dealers and anti-social elements, but the department is not investigating them. Whereas in the list of the Health Department, there are mostly such doctors who have clinics and hospitals in their names. These doctors see patients at the clinic and also admit them in the hospital. It is wrong to point fingers in the name of such doctors.
Dr. Shivshankar Shahi, president of the Indian Medical Association, says that the doctor in whose name the two institutes are being accepted by the health department is the same. There are names of many such doctors in the list, in whose names nursing homes are registered, while they are not aware of it. The health department, with the help of the administration, should investigate the hospitals in the district and neighboring districts, so that the people who register fraudulently are exposed. He said that legal action should be taken against such people. Because, many people are running hospitals in a fake way, but the health department is refraining from taking action on them.
Dr. Amit Mishra, secretary of the Nursing Home Association, said that if a doctor registers his name in a hospital on rent, it is wrong. Health department should take action against quacks and fake hospitals. In this the association will provide all possible help.
