India is getting the hosting of G-20 from today. On this occasion, 100 monuments of the country will be illuminated. Of these, three are from Agra. Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Akbar’s Tomb Sikandra Memorial in Tajnagari will be illuminated at night from Thursday. Along with the lighting for seven days at night, the G-20 logo will also be installed at the entrance of these three monuments along with the Taj Mahal, so that tourists visiting these monuments can get information about hosting the G-20.
The Union Ministry of Culture has instructed officials of the Archaeological Survey of India to install the G-20 logo along with lighting on monuments for seven days from Thursday, after which a trial of lighting was conducted at Agra Fort on Wednesday night. Logos will also be unveiled at all the four monuments on Thursday afternoon. This logo will be installed on the gates of all the four monuments including the Taj Mahal.
Cultural sector meetings to be held in Agra
The celebration of hosting the G-20 will be celebrated through 100 monuments along with 50 cities of the country. Agra is one of the cities that will host the G-20. Cultural sector meetings are to be held in Agra, so G-20 logos will be installed here along with illuminating the monuments. G-20 logos will be placed on the Unipole at Taj Mahal, at the main entrance of Agra Fort, at Agra Gate at Fatehpur Sikri and at the gate at Sikandra. Guests coming to India during the G-20 meetings will be taken on a tour of tourist places in Agra.
Selfie competition will be held in monuments
G-20 will be celebrated as an event by the Ministry of Culture throughout the year. Selfie competition will be organized in the monuments of Tajnagari, which will be publicized on social media. Through these events, efforts will be made to connect the youth with the G-20 event.
