Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for India from Uzbekistan after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. PM Modi’s special plane has taken off from Samarkand Airport for India. PM Modi reached Samarkand on Thursday to attend the summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is returning with a big message to the world during his 24-hour visit. Be it the war started by Russia against Ukraine or India’s conflict with China.

In the summit, PM Modi also had a face-to-face with the heads of state of many countries. Xi and Modi came face-to-face for the first time since India and China had a standoff along the border due to the violent clashes in Galwan Valley in June 2020. However, there was no meeting between the two leaders.

Distance seen from Jinping on stage

When PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping appeared on the platform of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the distance was also clearly visible. The two leaders neither shook hands nor had a smile on their faces. In the summit held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, PM Narendra Modi was seen keeping a proper distance from the Chinese President.

Mantra to Putin against Ukraine war

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin met during the summit. During this talks were held between Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin. PM Modi also gave a suggestion about the war to the President of Russia in gestures. He clearly said that this era is not of war. He said that only democracy, diplomacy and dialogue will give the right message to the world.

Pakistani PM also attended

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif also attended the conference. The leaders of the permanent members of the group posed together before deliberations during a limited format of the summit. In which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen standing next to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Te SCO started in 2001

The SCO was founded in June 2001 in Shanghai and has eight full members, including its six founding members China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. India and Pakistan joined it as full members in the year 2017. Due to Kovid-19, such a summit of SCO is being held after two years, in which leaders are personally present.
