Wash: Rain continues in the city of Dhulia. Rain water has entered various settlements and colonies. Due to which people are facing a lot of troubles. People had expressed their anger against the municipal administration due to the accumulation of rain water in the residential area. A few days ago, MLA Farooq Shah along with officials of NHAI, PWD and Municipal Corporation visited the highways of the city.
MLA Farooq Shah has written three letters to the municipal administration regarding the cleaning of the drain before the monsoon. The letter said that there has been massive encroachment in Dhulia town. Due to the increase in rain water during monsoon, rain water enters the settlements due to encroachment, causing inconvenience to the people. People say that due to the lack of timely cleaning of all the small and enlarged drains of the city, people are facing a lot of trouble during the rainy season. It is being told that the flood water has filled the slums of Kamgar Nagar, Qazi Plot, Aadhar Colony of Hamal Mapadi Devpur area, Professor Colony, Gausiya Nagar, Brick Kiln, Parish and Sushinala Parish.

Municipal commissioner gave instructions to the officers
MLA Farooq Shah inspected the Devpur area during the night. Shah visited the same area the next day along with the Municipal Commissioner and his supporters. People appealed to the Municipal Commissioner and officials that immediate action should be taken for drainage in the entire city. The Municipal Commissioner immediately instructed the officials of the concerned department. On this occasion, MLA Farooq Shah was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Devidas Tekale, MIM District President Naseer Pathan, Councilor Saeed Baig Mirza, Councilor Gani Dollar, Asif Popat Shah, Kaiser Painter, Nazar Khan, Aqib Syed, Sameer Mirza and most of the citizens were present.
