The CBI told the bench that it has sent a letter to the Union Home Ministry seeking the help of Interpol. The investigation will be taken forward after getting permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs. During the proceedings, the bench was informed that WhatsApp chats have been taken from the accused persons, indicating the involvement of more people in the conspiracy behind the death of Dhanbad district court judge Uttam Anand on July 28 last year.

A team of CBI officials will have to go to the headquarters of WhatsApp in the US and get the details of the conversation to get to the bottom of the conspiracy.
