The foundation stone of the first flat factory project of the state to be prepared at a cost of Rs 125 crore was to be laid in Navratri, but in view of the birthday of the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister changed the program of the foundation stone on time. The foundation stone will be laid in a virtual way on Saturday morning at 11 am.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to give a big gift to the entrepreneurs of Agra. The proposed state’s first flat factory in Foundry Nagar will cost Rs 125 crore, in which 200 entrepreneurs will be able to set up their factories under one roof. The proposed flat factory on 21,500 square meters of land will have a construction area of four lakh square feet. Nine lifts will be installed in the five-storey building.
All entrepreneurs of Agra will be involved
Rakesh Garg, vice-president of Uttar Pradesh Small Industries Corporation, said that there is a plan to give this gift on the birthday of the Prime Minister. Therefore all the entrepreneurs of Agra have been invited to the live foundation stone laying program at PPDC at 11 am. Garment entrepreneurs have also been called here for the foundation stone laying ceremony.
The majority of flatted factories are keen to take up the garment industry. The eco-friendly factory premises will have a three MW substation, rain water harvesting and solar power. Entrepreneur can start his work as soon as he comes to Flatted Factory Complex. Here only he has to plug on by putting his machinery, with this his production will start.
Preference to white category industries
According to Rakesh Garg, the factory space will be provided to the entrepreneurs at the actual cost price. The garment industry will be given priority in the non-polluting white category, while new start-ups will also find a place here. Having a garment factory at one place will allow the visiting buyers to place all the orders at one place. Display and auditorium will also be built here.
Features of the first flatted factory of the state
- Industrial units will be set up in a four-storey complex
- The proposed building in Foundry Nagar will be of 21,500 square meters.
- One lakh square feet area will be in use on each floor
- Nine lifts will be installed for goods, employees
- Support facility area will be built on the ground floor for industrial supplies.
- Canteen facility will be available for the employees
- Rain water harvesting, solar panels, STP will be built
- There will be a zero discharge campus, there will be a separate substation of electricity
- 18 meters wide road will be constructed on both sides of the campus
- Administrative building block will be made for industries
