A case of brutal beating of a youth on suspicion of theft has come to light in Dhanauli of Malpura police station area of Agra. The young man was beaten up by tying both his hands to the pole of the tinshed. Someone standing at the spot made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media.
Dhanauli resident Nirupat Singh’s son Lalaram Diwakar has a vegetable shop. His son Akash drives a tempo. Akash had parked the tempo at the vegetable shop on Monday night. Nirupat was sleeping near the tempo. Nirupat woke up on Tuesday morning after hearing the sound of knocking. When he saw a young man was opening the tire of the tempo, he made a noise.
On hearing the noise, the young man started running. The passersby ran and caught him. After which both the hands of the young man were tied to the pole of the tinshed with a rope. beat him mercilessly. Nirupat and others have accused the youth of stealing. Police station in-charge Tejveer Singh has told that the matter has just come to the notice. Is being investigated.
