Inspector Ranjana Sachan, in-charge of the women’s station, was overwhelmed to bring her brother-in-law to the police station in place of the warranty woman of Agra. SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary has put him on the line for negligence. No one else has been posted in his place yet.
According to the case, in a case of the year 1997, the plaintiff woman had a warrant. The woman has to be produced in court. But, she is not showing up. Warrants have been issued many times by the court. Despite searching them, the woman could not be traced. Even in the Etmaddaula area, the woman is not living in her house.
Brain hemorrhage happened in the police station itself
On this, the police had brought the woman’s brother-in-law Vishnu to the police station a few days ago. Shortly after being brought to the police station, Vishnu had a brain hemorrhage. He has been admitted to a private hospital. First the police had done the treatment. But now the police have pulled their hands. On this, the family members complained to the SSP. In view of the negligence in the matter, the Inspector-in-Charge of the station was present on the line.
SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary said that the court had ordered to present the woman in the court. A relative was brought to inquire about the address. On prima facie negligence, the station in-charge has been placed on the line.
