A differently-abled student studying in class 12 of Lord Krishna Public School, Raibha, Achhnera area of Agra, tried to commit suicide by jumping from the third floor of the school. He took this suicidal step on 25 November. The condition of the student, who was admitted to a hospital in Gurugram, remains critical. On Monday, the student’s father gave a complaint at the Achhnera police station. In which the manager and teacher of the school have been accused of harassing them.
Dheeraj Kumar, a resident of Kirawali’s Mohalla Paith Gali, runs an engine parts shop. He told the police that his 17-year-old son Gaurav is a class 12 student at Lord Krishna Public School. On November 25, while studying, his son jumped from the third floor of the school.
Harassment at school
The father has written in Tahrir that Gaurav is handicapped by birth. He was bullied in school for this. When a complaint was made to the school manager, he hit the child saying go and complain to the police. Troubled by this, Gaurav jumped from the third floor. Seriously injured Gaurav has been admitted to a hospital in Gurugram.
Station in-charge Anurag Sharma told that Tahrir has been given against the manager and the teacher. The allegations are being investigated. In this case, the school manager Virendra Singhal told that on the information of the student falling from the roof of the school, he had taken him to Agra for treatment. No other matter is in his notice.
